In 2024, over 530 people from around the world resettled to Maine after fleeing violence and persecution.
Families and individuals from Syria, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Venezuela, Iraq, Somalia, and more have moved to Maine in order to find safety, security, and opportunity.
Penobscot Community Health Care and the PCHC Commitee for Diversity, Equity, Belonging, and Inclusion would like to extend a warm welcome to these families.
We have created this website for you with links to helpful organizations and resources.
It’s our hope that soon you love Maine as much as we do!
